Krisensituation in Botosani, was Adoptionen betrifft. Staupe verschreckte viele, sogar, obwohl weniger als 10 von 900 Hunden daran starben und weniger als 20 wirklich krank wurden. Es wurde schnell reagiert, und alle Hunde wurden geimpft. Alte Decken und Stroh wurden vollständig verbrannt um alle Ansteckungsmöglichkeiten auszuschliessen. Die Epedemie wurde gestoppt – es gibt keine neuen Fälle, und auch die kranken Hunde sind auf dem Wege der Besserung. Alle kranken Hunde sind im Quarantänebereich isoliert.

Dennoch werden aktuell erschreckend wenig Hunde adoptiert.

Möglicheriwese, weil Leute eher aus Shelters adoptieren, in denen bereits getötet wird?

Auch in Botosani ist das Töten unausweichlich. Es sind, offiziell bekannt, 100 Hunde “zuviel” und damit liegen die Voraussetzungen für den Tötungsbefehl vor. Wie lange Zeit noch bleibt ist unbekannt.

We are passing to a bit of crisis situation about the adoptions lately. The distemper in the PS scared allot of people, even if there ware less then 10 dogs to die of distemper and less then 20 dogs to really get sick out of 900. We moved fast, and with your help we bought allot of vaccines and allot of dogs ware vaccinated. The old blankets, the straw, all was burn out, not to carrie the microbes anymore. Right now the epidemic seemed to have been stooped, we had no new cases lately and even part of the sick dogs are doing well. All sick dogs are isolated in quarantine and all the other dogs are doing ok.

Beside this it seems like adoptions go bad also because people are oriented across all Romania, and in particular on the Ps’s where the killing is already happening.

We ware supposed to have 800 dogs are we already close to 900….we don’t know how much time we have left. We posted only nice and adoptable dogs lately and still no one is interested in any of them.

We really need your help in this..and i don’t ask you to adopt ore foster, i know you all did, ore you helped in the way you could..all i ask is that you share our albums with dogs for adoption, so at least more people get the chance to see them, maybe they reach someone to fall in love….You are allot of people….if you all share these albums our dogs will have better chances to be seen and helped.
