Gewalt, Gesetzesverstösse, Tod auf dem Transport und beim Einfangen – Enthüllungen von Vier Ex-Hundefängern

4 ehemalige Hundefänger der Bukarest Stadtverwaltung enthüllten gestern die brutalen Methoeden, die seitens der ASPA (Authority for Surveillance and Animal Protection) angewandt werden, um Strassenhunde einzufangen, und wie sie gezwungen wurden, so viele Hunde wie möglich einzufangen. Ohne Ruhigstellung, ohne richtige Einweisung und egal wie.
Sie sagten ebenfalls, daß Hunde bis zu 14 Stunden in den Kleinbussen aufbewahrt wurden, bis sie in den Public Shelters ausgeladen wurden. Einige waren bis dahin schon durch gewaltsame Behandlung gestorben.
Unabhängig vom Gesundheitszustand der Tiere berechnen die drei Privatfirmen, die ASPA engagiert hat, über 50 Euro pro eingefangenes Tier.

Der ASPA Koordinator, Razvan Bacescu, entgegnete, daß “die Fangmethoden nicht die elegantesten seien, aber sich im Rahmen der Gesetze bewegten”. Vier Pfoten hat die Nationale Tierschutzbehörde dazu aufgefordert, die “Gesetzmässigkeit” dieser tödlichen Methoden zu überprüfen und daran erinnert, daß laut Gesetz das Verletzen der Tiere wärend des Einfangvorgangs strengstens verboten ist.

Bis jetzt wurden mehr als 8.000 Strassenhunde durch ASPA Fänger eingefangen worden. 3.000 davon wurden bereits getötet.

4 foști hingheri din București au demascat ieri metodele violente de capturare a câinilor fără stăpân, acuzând conducerea ASPA că-i obliga să prindă cât mai multe animale indiferent de metode și fără să le ofere un instructaj minim. Aceștia au dezvăluit că uneori câinii stăteau și 14 ore în mașini până să fie descărcați, iar o parte din ei ajungeau morți la adăpost din cauza tratamentului extrem de dur. Indiferent de starea animalelor, ASPA deconta cei 219 lei/animal capturat.La aceste acuzații, coordonatorul ASPA, Răzvan Băncescu a replicat că ”metodele de capturare nu sunt cele mai elegante, însă sunt cele legale”. VIER PFOTEN solicită ANSVSA să se autosesizeze și să verifice ”legalitatea” unor astfel de metode care duc la moartea animalelor. Reamintim că, potrivit legii, rănirea și mutilarea câinilor este strict interzisă în timpul capturării.

4 former dog catchers of the Bucharest City Hall disclosed yesterday the brutal methods used for capturing the stray dogs and accused the Authority for Surveillance and Animal Protection (ASPA) to force them to capture as many dogs as possible, without tranquilisers, without proper instructions and generally regardless of the methods used. They also said that the dogs were spending even 14 hours inside the vans befor being discharged to the public dog pounds and some of them were already dead because of the violent treatment. No matter the physical condition of the animals, the three private companies hired by ASPA were charging over 50 euros per captured animal.
The ASPA coordinator, Razvan Bancescu, replied that ”the capturing methods are not the most elegant, but they’re according to the law”. VIER PFOTEN ask the National Sanitarian Veterinarian Authority to check the “legality” of these deadly methods, reminding that, according to the law, hurting the animals during capture is strictly forbidden.
By now over 8.000 stray dogs were captured by ASPA catchers. 3000 of them were already killed.
