Eine neue Umfrage zeigt, daß 62% der Rumänen gegen die Tötung von Strassenhunden sind. Eine grosse Anzahl von ihnen stimmt einer alternativen Lösung des Problemes zu: 84% befürworten die Alternative, Strassenhunde in Shelters zu halten, und 72% meinen, man solle die friedlichen von ihnen, wenn sie kastriert sind, wieder auf die Strassen entlassen. Die Umfrage zeigt ebenfalls, daß 66% der Rumänen keine Partei wählen würden, die die Euthanasie von Strassenhunden unterstützt.

A new poll shows that 62% of Romanians are against killing of stray dogs. A large number of Romanians agree with alternative solutions to the stray dog problem: 84% prefer the alternative of keeping stray dogs in animal shelters and 72% agree with the peaceful ones to be returned on the streets if sterilized. The poll shows additionally that 66 % of Romanians would not vote for a political party that supports euthanasia of stray dogs.
